The U16 boys USA Red 94 RM team participated in the Nomads Thanksgiving Day 2009 tournament in San Diego, CA. With superb coaching from Ryan Mitchell, the boys had several standout performances in 6 games and gave up only 5 goals. They represented the USA soccer club with class and a superb level of soccer. At the quarter finals, they beat nationally ranked Knott’s Forrest (9) and moved on to beat Real So Cal (35) in the semi-finals. In the Championship match, they fought to earn the silver in a 2-1 match against their aggressive opponents, Texas Fire (20). Congratulations USA!
