The LaRoca Premier 94 boys, coached by Adolfo Ovalle, won the Santa Clara Sporting tournament in Santa Clara, California on August 10th.

The team played all California North teams and started pool play by beating San Juan Lightning 2-1. Their second game was against Santa Clara Sporting, and LaRoca fell short 0-2 in this game. The 3rd and final pool play game was against Marin FC and LaRoca won this game 3-1 to advance to the Quarter-Finals. In the Quarter-final match, LaRoca won in PK's against another strong California North team, DeAnza Force to advance to the semi-finals.

LaRoca won the semi-final match 3-0 against California Odyssey and went on to face Santa Clara Sporting, the host team, once again. The championship game went to overtime where LaRoca scored and won the game 2-1.
